Barton Community College Theatre will hold auditions for its fall production of “Circle Mirror Transformation” at 7 p.m. Aug. 26 and Aug. 27 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
Barton Community College has named 314 students to the President’s List for the spring 2026 semester. To qualify for this honor students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.

High school students are busy people. Between sports, activities, and spending time with friends, the thought of getting a jump start on college can seem like a lot. That didn’t stop Otis- Bison High School student Louis McVey. He was able to juggle it all and graduate as valedictorian with his diploma as well as an associate degree, thanks to Barton’s Early College Opportunities.
When the Barton Community College Foundation gathers for its 47th Annual Big Benefit Auction on Aug. 22, attendees will have the opportunity to do more than bid on auction packages. They will help honor two community members whose quiet generosity has touched Barton students and the Great Bend community for decades.
Barton Community College's Early Childhood Education Program will host its second annual "Wheels and Squeals" free family event for children up to eight years old from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 19, in the Technical Building parking lot at the northeast corner of campus.
