Student Orientation

FALL 2023 INFORMATION COMING SOON!
Fall 2023 New Student Orientation (In Person)
- New Student Orientation is for the traditional freshman student or the transfer student with <24 credit hours that will be attending classes in person at the Great Bend campus.
- Sessions on Advising, Rights & Responsibilities, Library/Learning Resources, Student Life, Title IX, Academic Development, etc.
- Monday, August 14th and Tuesday, August 15th - more information will be sent to students and posted at a later date.
- Register for New Student Orientation
Virtual Orientation Q&A (Via Zoom)
- For any student regardless of attendance location or modality.
- Barton personnel representing a variety of service areas available to answer questions.
- Already have questions? Submit them ahead of time - these will be answered at the session and responded to via email.

Housing Check-In - 1-7 p.m. Check-in at the Union (Speed up your check-in by following the instructions to sign-up for Cougar Text Messaging)

Food Service starts for housing residents in the Union. Weekend Schedule: Brunch 12-12:45 p.m. Dinner 5-5:30 p.m.
August 14, 2023
Food Service Adjusted Hours Before Classes Begin: Breakfast 8:00-9:00 a.m. Lunch 11-12:30 p.m. Dinner 5-5:30 p.m.
New Student Orientation for non-athletes and select teams: 8:15 a.m. meet in the Kirkman gym. Sessions will run from 8:30-12:00 p.m.
Housing Meeting 4-5 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium. All Housing Residents should plan to attend.
