Welcome to the MyBarton Portal


  • NOTE Beginning Monday, August 15, 2022, everyone will be prompted to use OKTA Multi-Factor Authentication to access the MyBarton Portal.
  • Please be aware that all Business Office, Advisor, Financial Aid, and Enrollment Services communications will be through your Office 365 (O365) Barton student email  account. To access your O365 account please login to your MyBarton Portal and locate the O365 card. Please note that this  email account is not tied to your Canvas account.

How to log in to the portal

  • You will use your student email as your username.
  • Your Password will be your six- digit date of birth with the format (mmddyy). For example, if your date of birth is January 12, 1985, you will enter 011285 as your temporary PIN/Password.
    • e.g. Jane Smith
    • After logging in for the first time, please locate the Security Card and set up security questions and set a new password different from your birthdate.
  • You will use your employee email as your username.
  • You will use your employee password that you login to your Barton computer or email every day.
    • e.g. Jane Smith
    • You do not need to reset your password, however, after logging in for the first time, please locate the Security Card and set up NEW security questions.
    • In the future, use this method for password resets.
