Central Kansas Community Choir to present holiday concert

The Central Kansas Community Choir (CKCC), in conjunction with Barton’s Music Department, will host a festive evening of sacred and secular choral music to welcome the holiday season at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at the First United Methodist Church Great Bend at 2123 Forest Ave., in Great Bend.

The Central Kansas Community Choir (CKCC) is a non-denominational mixed chorus sponsored by Barton Community College. Founded in 2003 by former director Vern Fryberger, the choir performs a wide range of challenging, quality music for the enjoyment of Central Kansas residents. Membership is open to singers who are high school age and older.
