The Barton Community College Board of Trustees will hold a special Board meeting at 4 p.m. Jan. 30. in the Fine Arts building, room F-30. The agenda includes the approval and announcement of Barton’s sixth president.
The College began the nationwide search for the next president in September when current president, Dr. Carl Heilman, announced his retirement effective June 30, 2024. The search neared its completion last week when two finalists visited the Barton County campus, participated in forums with employees and community members, and visited Barton’s other campuses.
