The Barton Community College Performing Arts Department will host “Scholarship Day” auditions on Saturday, Feb.8 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Current or prospective students may contact the Music Department to set up a time to audition for music or theatre scholarships or performance awards. Awards are available for performing arts majors and non-performing arts majors alike.
Those doing a vocal audition will need to bring a song of their choice. Those doing an instrumental audition will need to bring their instrument and prepare a song of their choice. Theatre auditions will consist of a 90-second monologue, vocal selection from musical theatre or a 90-second combination.
