Barton Community College’s presidential hopefuls to engage with community Jan. 16-19

The final two candidates in the search for Barton Community College's next president will be visiting the Barton County area, as well as Barton’s other campuses from Jan. 16-19. The community is invited to attend public forums to meet the candidates and ask questions. College faculty and staff will have dedicated opportunities to meet the candidates as well.

Dr. Marcus Garstecki’s public forum will be held at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 16 in the Fine Arts building, room F-30, or virtually via Zoom: https://bartonccc-edu.zoom.us/j/96565508780. Dr. Seth Carter’s will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 18 in F-30 or via Zoom: https://bartonccc-edu.zoom.us/j/93585869626.

  • Meet with the search committee

  • Meetings at Ellsworth Correction Facility, Grandview Plaza, and Fort Riley

Thursday, Jan. 18 

  • Meet with the search committee 
  • Lunch with the Board of Trustees

Friday, Jan. 19 

  • Meetings at Ellsworth Correction Facility, Grandview Plaza, and Fort Riley
