This is being written before the weekly drought monitor is released but there is likely little change.  Our area, the western two thirds of state, are out of dry conditions.  The six-to ten-day outlook (January 3 to 7) indicates a 70 to 80% chance of likely above normal for temperatures and a 33 to 40% chance of leaning below normal for precipitation.

Dec 27

As of Tuesday, December 23rd, the drought monitor report indicates no real change from last week.  The only part of the state suffering from a deficiency is the eastern third of Kansas and a bit of North Central.
