Barton music students to present recital on Oct. 27

Barton Community College will present a student recital of instrumental and vocal performances at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel, located in the Fine Arts Building, F-157.  The recital is free and open to the public.

The recital will involve students of Keyboard Instructor Karole Erikson, Director of Instrumental Studies Steve Lueth and Voice Instructor Glenna Gaunt. Barton music students are an eclectic group made up of traditional college students, area high school students enrolled for college credit and area adults studying for their own enjoyment. They will perform a variety of selections in a variety of different styles.

This recital will feature performances from the following students: Rebecca Harmison, flutist from Dighton; Kira Bunn, trombonist from Great Bend; Steven Cortez, trombonist from Ellinwood; Jennifer Pfortmiller, organist from Hudson; Tom Bauer, pianist from Great Bend; Kolton Landreth, vocalist of Wichita; Paige Crocker, vocalist of Olathe; Allison Muth, vocalist from Great Bend High School (GBHS); Allison Regehr, vocalist from GBHS; Ethan Wedel, vocalist from GBHS; Katherine Snapp, vocalist from GBHS; Tasha Deiser, vocalist of Salina; Michael Raymer, vocalist of Great Bend; Edward Jones, vocalist of Great Bend; Terri Horner, vocalist of Great Bend.
