Career Center Spotlight: Alex Arnold

Alex ArnoldAlex Arnold, 2020 Barton Community College Graduate
Associates of Arts in Liberal Studies

Do you have any memorable moments at Barton?

My most treasured memory as a Cougar was the opportunity to complete an internship at the Kansas House of Representatives. This program was a great way to gain experience and make meaningful connections.

Where did you transfer and what was your major?

After my time at Barton Community College, I transferred to the University of Kansas where I graduated with a B.G.S. in Political Science with a minor in Intelligence and National Security Studies.

What are your future plans?

My plan is to begin the MA in Theological Studies program at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (Evangel University) this fall.

What is your advice to Barton students?

My advice is to never be afraid of reaching out! During my time at Barton, I never met any member of the Barton staff that was not willing to help in any way they possibly could.
