Barton Trustee Mike Johnson elected president of Kansas Association of Community College Trustees

Barton Community College’s Board of Trustees Chairman Mike Johnson has been elected President of the Kansas Association of Community College Trustees (KACCT). 

The KACCT membership includes the elected trustees from all 19 of the state’s community colleges. These schools represent a total enrollment of more than 115,000 students. Johnson has served on the executive committee for the KACCT the past several years and this will be his second term as president. The mission of KACCT is to “Build better futures through cooperation, collaboration and communication in advocating on behalf of community colleges to better serve Kansas constituencies.”

Johnson is currently serving in his fifth term on the Barton Board of Trustees.
