2024 is bringing a lot of excitement and opportunities for education in the State of Kansas, and Barton is excited to be a part of these opportunities, including the Kansas Board of Regent’s Systemwide Elementary Education (PK-6) Transfer Associate Degree and Kansas Department of Education’s Registered Teaching Apprenticeship Model. In support of both of these opportunities, Barton is hosting a pair of Education Apprenticeship Fairs on February 15 and 26. Each Fair will provide a presentation from KSDE representatives on the Apprenticeship program, and will feature representatives from Barton, K-State, Fort Hays, Emporia State, and Ottawa University to answer questions and provide materials about supporting teacher education.
