2015 Vortex Day Details Vortex Day 2013
Vortex Day is May 7, 2015! Free to registrants, materials and lunch provided. A confirmation email of registered participants as well as check-in information will be sent to school instructors the week following registration submissions.

The 5th  Annual Vortex Fine & Performing Arts Day is designed to stimulate and enhance students’ interest and excitement in the Fine Arts.

The Vortex Fine Arts Day will offer participants the opportunity to meet and visit with each other and to learn by partaking in the day’s planned activities dedicated to the visual arts. In addition to the scheduled fine arts juried show and critiques, students will choose from several fascinating hands-on mini-sessions, demonstrations, and showcases that they are sure to find enjoyable, exciting and educational. Presenters from the Barton faculty and the Shafer Gallery Staff will entertain and educate.

Throughout the day a Twitter photo contest will encourage all students to participate by submitting photos of the events they attend. A winner will be picked by the Barton Community College PR department.
