Completion of a Military Technical Certificate in the field of Military Leadership, Logistics, or Dangerous Materials Handling prepares a student with the skills to successfully execute the duties in these fields during daily military operations. Military technical fields are an ever-expanding specialty that involves complex systems, hardware and technologies. These systems and technologies possess increasing civilian applications.

What are the opportunities?
The Liberal Studies curriculum is designed to prepare students to transfer to a four-year institution. A student can earn an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science. A student pursuing an Associate of Arts degree has more emphasis in humanities, fine/performing arts and the social sciences. A student pursuing an Associate of Science degree has more emphasis in mathematics, natural/life sciences and physical sciences.
An Associate in General Studies is a great way to get started on your college career. Whether you’re looking for affordable classes, need a flexible schedule, or you haven’t picked a concentration or major and want to transfer to a university, Barton is a great option.
Our degree is available in-person or completely online, and classes are offered in 4, 6, 8, and 16 week sessions via Barton Online.
Students pursuing an emphasis in English have a broad array of interests in the language and written arts. These students are prepared for transfer by studying a variety of curricula that spans culture, politics, and concepts from around the world while focusing on rhetoric, literature, and creative writing.
Students pursuing a Communication degree are focused on a variety of communication forms. A Communication major is appropriate for a wide variety of careers including, Law, Business, and Public Relations.
