3 - Kris Lacio

Kingman, Kansas (Kingman HS)

High School/Club:
Kris was a 3-year starter for Kingman High School as a point guard. Her senior season, Kris averaged 9 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds per game. She was an all-league selection that year. Her junior year, the Eagles finished 4th at the Class 4A state tournament when she was a 2nd team all-league pick. Kris was an honorable mention all-league pick as a sophomore. She lettered in in golf and track at Kingman and played summer basketball for the Dream Team. Kris carried a 3.9 GPA and was a Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership award winner.

First year at Barton:
Ipek played in all 30 games for Barton, starting 26 of them. She averaged 10.9 points per game to go with 4.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists. She made 78 3-pointers, leaving shy of the school record by just 3. Ipek hit 42 percent from behind the arc.

High School/Club:

Ipek attended Cumhuriyet High School in Turkey where she lettered and started for two years. She averaged 20 points, 4 assists, and 5 rebounds per game as a senior, hitting 43 percent of her 3-point attempts. Ipek was the selected the league MVP in 2002 and led the league in points in both 2002 and 2003.

High School/Club:
Courtney was the starting point guard for Torrington High School her senior season and started for Hillhouse High School the previous 3. She averaged double digit in points all 4 years with a high of 15 points a game her junior season. Courntey averaged 7 assists her senior season to go with 3 rebounds a contest. She shot nearly 40 percent from behind the arc during her high school career. She helped her team to a pair of state titles and the Final Four all 4 seasons. Torrington was 20-3 her senior season and she was 60-11 in 3 years at Hillhouse. Courtney was an all league selection as well as league MVP during her prep days.

High School/Club:
Katey was a 4-year starter for Colorado Springs Christian High School. She left the school with school records in assists, steals, and free throw percentage. Her career assist mark was the 3rd best all-time in Colorado. Katey was an all conference pick all 4 years and an all-state pick twice. She finished with a 3.7 GPA and was a 4-year honor roll student.

15 - Kristine Silaraja

Ventspils, Latvia (Ventspils Secondary No. 4)

High School/Club:
Kristine attended Ventspils Secondary School No. 4 in Latvia. As as a senior she racked up 21.3 points, 3.2 assists, and 6 rebounds per contest. She also shot 50% percent from the field and 80% from the free throw line. As a senior, Kristine was named league MVP.

22 - Brooke Conley

High School/Club:
Brooke was a 3-year starter at Derby High School, averaging double figures scoring her junior and senior seasons. Brooke scored 13 points a game her senior year, hitting 65 percent of her shots from the field. As a junior she scored 15 points a game, hitting nearly 80 percent from the floor. Derby won the league title her senior season and she was a 2nd team All AVCTL pick. She was an honor roll student in high school.

23 - Andrea Bogart

High School/Club:
Andrea was a 2-year starter at Collegiate High School, helping her team to the Class 3A state title her senior year, then under the direction of now Barton head coach Chance Lindley. Andrea scored 6 points a game as a senior to go with 8 rebounds per contest. As a junior she scored 4 points and grabbed 6 boards a game.

24 - Inga Muciniece
6-5 Sophomore

Ventspils, Latvia (Ventspils Secondary No. 5)

First year at Barton:
Inga played in all 30 games last year, starting 20 times. She finished the season averaging 9.9 points per game and 10 rebounds a contest to go with 2 blocks a game. Inga was a 2nd team All Jayhawk West pick and an honorable metion WBCA All-American. During West play, Inga scored 13.3 points a game, grabbed 12.1 rebounds and blocked 2.6 shots a contest.

High School/Club:

Inga attended Ventspils Secondary School No. 5. As a senior, she scored 11 points, 2 assists, and grabbed 14 rebounds per contest. Her GPA was 3.97.

33 - Shelby Hillman

Cheney, Kansas (Cheney HS)

High School/Club:
Shelby started all 4 years for Cheney High School averaging double figures in points her junior and senior seasons. As a senior, Shelby scored 15.9 points a game and grabbed 7.9 rebounds per contest. She also averaged 2.6 assists and outing. As a junior she scored 12.1 points and collected 6.2 rebounds. Cheney was crowned league champions her 1st years and were sub state champions her sophomore year. She was a 1st team all league pick as a senior and 2nd team as a junior. Her GPA at Cheney was 3.98 and she was on the Prinicipal's Honor Roll all 4 years.

34 - Jessica Halsig

Wichita, Kansas (Bishop Carroll HS)

First year at Barton:
Jessica played in 28 games her freshman season, starting once. She averaged 6.3 points a game off the bench, making 30 3-pointers during the course of the season. She averaged 3.4 points a game and was 3rd on the team at 1.8 steals per contest.

High School/Club:

Jessica attended Bishop Carroll High School in Wichita. As as a senior, she put up averages of 17 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds a game. She also connected on an impressive 80% of her free throws. Her junior stats were just as good, averaging 15 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds per contest. Jessica helped Bishop Carroll to a State Championship in 2004. She was a 1st team All State pick as a senior year in addition to 1st team All City both her junior and senior years. She was chosen to play in the KBCA All Star game and was nominated for McDonald's High School All-American.
