Player Profiles 2007-08
	1 - Kara Robeson 6-1 Sophomore Middle Hitter Wichita, Kansas (Northwest HS) Freshman season at Barton: Kara played in all 39 matches last season, recording 338 kills for the Cougars as a freshman for a 2.6 average per game. Kara was 3rd on the team in blocks with 121. Robeson was a 2nd team All Conference pick for Barton her freshman season. High School/Club: At Northwest High School in Wichita, Kara was a 3 year starter and letter winner as a middle hitter. She was named MVP of her team during her junior and senior seasons to go along with 2nd Team All-City honors both of those years. Kara also lettered in basketball as a freshman and softball as a sophomore.
	2 - Kassie Rohr 5-9 Freshman Setter/Right-Side Hitter Ellsworth, Kansas (Ellsworth HS) High School/Club: Kassie was a 4-year starter at Ellsworth High School. During her four years she helped her team the state tournament while earning all league honors.
	3 - Caitlin Sperstad 5'7 Freshman Defensive Specialist Fort Collins, Colorado (Windsor HS) High School/Club: Caitlin played for Windsor High School as well as the Bongo Volleyball Club. She also finished high school with a 3.2 GPA.
	4 - Cristin Haines 5-5 Sophomore Libero Palos Heights, Illinois (Marist HS) Freshman season at Barton: Cristin played Libero for the Cougars last season, playing in 35 matches. She led the team with 564 digs, good for more than 4 a game in her 117 games. Haines recorded 19 service aces for Barton. She was a 1st team All Jayhawk West pick and was named Libero of the Year in the conference. High School/Club: Cristin attended Marist High School in Illinois where she was a 3-year starter and letter winner. She helped Marist win the ESCC Conference Championship in 2005 and Regional Championship in 2004 and 2005.
	5 - Amber Hockman 5-10 Freshman Outside/Middle Hitter Phillipsburg, Kansas (Phillipsburg HS) High School/Club: Amber was a 2-year starter and 3-year letterwinner at Phillipsburg High School playing outside and middle hitter for the Panthers. She was a 1st team All League selection her senior season and a 2nd team pick her junior year. Amber helped Phillipsburg advanced to the sub state finals both her junior and senior seasons. She was captain of the team her senior season.
	6 - Lisa Ohanaja 6-1 Sophomore Middle Hitter Houston, Texas (Westbury HS) High School/Club: Lisa attended Westbury High School in Houston where she was a two year starter and letter winner as a middle hitter. She earned 1st Team All-District honors in her senior campaign. While at Westbury, Lisa also lettered in track and field.
	7 - Stacie Thomsen 5-9 Freshman Outside Hitter Omaha, Nebraska (Omaha North HS) High School/Club: Stacie letter 3 years and started for 2 seasons at Omaha North High School.
	8 - Cenquis Rockett-Curry 6-2 Freshman Middle Hitter Omaha, Nebraska (Omaha North HS) High School/Club: Cenquis started and lettered 1 season at Omaha North High School. She was an All Metro Honorable Mention selection.
	9 - Graci D'Amore 5-11 Sophomore Outside Hitter Antioch, California (Deer Valley HS) Freshman season at Barton: Graci was a versitle player for the Cougars her freshman season as she was among the leaders in several categories. Graci had 349 kills, (4th) 52 serving aces (2nd), and 272 digs (3rd). She also recorded 31 blocks for Barton. High School/Club: Graci is a graduate of Deer Valley High School where she started for two years as an outside hitter. She helped her team to a 2nd place finish in league play her senior year. During her high school career, Graci was named All-League twice, once on the 2nd team and again on the 1st team.
	11 - Juliana Moraes 5-11 Sophomore Outside Hitter Rio De Janeiro, Brazil (Assuncao) Freshman season at Barton: Juliana played her freshman season at Barton in the Fall of 2005 where she was a 2nd team All Region VI pick. During that season, she had 297 kills in 43 matches, 3rd on the team at 2.41 per game. She also had 238 digs, 102 blocks, and 40 serving aces. Juliana transferred to Freed-Hardeman University but sat out last season as a red shirt. High School/Club: Juliana attended Assuncao and played for Club Teams Hebraica and Tijucatto while in Brazil.
	12 - Alik Cardoso de Sa 5-11 Sophomore Setter Sao Paulo, Brazil (Colegio Carlos Drummond de Andrade) Freshman season at Barton: Alik was among the top setters in the Jayhawk West last season, collecting 722 assists in 39 matches for 5.6 per game. She also had 39 serving aces and 235 digs for the Barton. Her 123 blocks were 2nd on the team as well and she added 128 kills. Her efforts earned her 1st team All Jayhawk West honors. High School/Club: Cardoso de Sa played club volleyball for Corinthians in her home country of Brazil.
	13 - Rebecca Lima 5-10 Freshman Outside Hitter Sao Paulo, Brazil (Colegio Adventista) High School/Club: Rebecca attended Advantista and played club ball for Marita for 5 years.
	14 - Whitney Boeh 5-10 Sophomore Outside Hitter White City, Kansas (White City HS) Freshman season at Barton: Whitney played in 37 matches last season for Barton finishing with 134 kills. Boeh also finished her freshman campaign with 12 blocks. High School/Club: Whitney was a four year starter and letter winner from White City High School. She earned numerous All-League honors while at White City. Whitney was named All-League honorable mention her freshman year, then 1st Team All-League during her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. She also earned an honorable mention on the All-State team her senior year. While at White City, Whitney also lettered in basketball, track, softball, and cheerleadering.
