Through creative and innovative instruction, the Liberal Arts & Sciences division will provide excellent learning opportunities that serve all students and provide a foundation for further study and/or lifelong learning.

Mission Statement

The Liberal Arts & Science division, through innovative instruction, will empower students to learn by providing the intellectual tools and the means to use them in an environment that fosters respect, responsibility, and integrity.

Goals

Within this context, the Liberal Arts & Sciences faculty have the following broad goals:

1. Strengthen our programs and departments to better meet students’ educational needs.
2. Improve the educational experiences of our students.
3. Increase collaboration with schools, colleges, and universities
4. Improve fiscal efficiencies with individual departments.
5. Annually evaluate departmental objectives to determine their effectiveness in meeting the needs of both current and future students.
