A Barton employee, student, friend or family member may nominate students.

A committee of faculty, staff and student body will elect graduating students for this award.

The nomination should include personal recommendation and material or direct knowledge supporting the following criteria:

Must be graduating or graduate from Barton.

Active participation in activities and leadership positions.

Demonstrated significant academic achievement.

Involvement in community service.  Including information on part-time or full time jobs.

Nominees will go through an interview process.  The Outstanding Graduates will speak during the commencement ceremony.  A faculty member will assist the students with the graduation speech.
