About the Fort Riley Campus
Barton Community College Fort Riley campus provides opportunities for soldiers, family members, retirees, and off post civilians to earn an Associate Arts/Science or Associate of Applied Science degrees in the traditional, hybrid and on line classrooms. Barton provides daytime, lunch hour, evening, and weekend classes for students requiring flexibility in determining their class schedules.
- The daytime classes meet five days a week for six (6) weeks for 1 hour and 20 minutes (80 minutes) class sessions.
- Lunch hour classes are from 1200 -1245 with the same time as the daytime classes, but are hybrid with class lecture and assignments/research completed on line.
- Evening classes are available in Hybrid or Traditional classes. Traditional classes meet for three (3) hours, two (2) nights each week for eight (8) weeks. Hybrid classes meet three hour one night a week with assignments completed on line.
- Weekend classes are from 9 - 12, Saturday morning for eight (8) weeks.
