We offer MSF Beginner and Experienced Rider courses. You will receive, upon successful completion of the course(s), a MSF completion card which could decrease your motorcycle insurance cost by 10%. Students successfully completing the Beginner course will also receive a Kansas waiver form to obtain a motorcycle license.
Some motorcycle manufacturers like BMW, Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha offer incentives for completing a MSF course. Check with your local dealer for more information.
Classes meet U.S. Military requirements for motorcycle operation.
The motorcycles (125cc Kawasaki Eliminators) and helmets (with a snap on clear visor if student does not bring eye protection) are provided. Students may bring their own DOT approved helmet or other riding equipment they may wish to use. Students may also bring their own motorcycle for the class as long as it meets the following criteria:
The student must have a valid driver’s license (motorcycle endorsement NOT required). Students must have proper riding attire during the range portion of the class which is listed below:
The class times are from 5:00 to 9:00pm on Friday, 7:00 to 5:00 on Saturday, and 7:00 to 4:30 on Sunday. Students must attend all class sessions to obtain the waiver form. The waiver form is valid for ONLY those who have or will be acquiring a Kansas State Drivers License.
The student must have a valid motorcycle license or permit and provide a motorcycle that meets the following criteria:
The student will also need a D.O.T. approved helmet, eye protection, long sleeved shirt, long pants, over the ankle boots or shoes, and full fingered gloves. The class is one day and starts at 9:00 am. Class dates will be scheduled based on demand.
