Barton Plan for Assessment of Student Learning
Barton, as a learning organization and college, is committed to student learning and outcomes achievement. In recent years, the College has devoted considerable energy, effort, and resources to the assessment of student learning and academic achievement. Assessment is the key to enhancing student learning and ensuring that the intended learning in fact occurs. In 2003-04, the College revised its Assessment Plan. This document is considered a “living document,” in that the Plan continues to evolve through modifications and improvements as the College learns more about the use of assessment to measure student learning.
