The level one developmental student is a student who is in all three developmental courses...Basic Applied Math, Basic Reading, and Basic English. Any student in two or more developmental classes MUST also be enrolled in Student Success Seminar. Developmental courses do not count towards graduation, but they must be taken so that the student can go on to take English Composition and College Algebra, which are requirements for graduation. It is important for the student to know that these classes need to be taken so that they will succeed in their future classes.
Their class schedule would look something like this:
