The Barton County Community College Foundation exists to raise private sector funds by providing leadership and to prudently manage gifts to benefit educational opportunities and initiatives of the college.
Note from the Director.............
The Barton County Community College Foundation, along with its board of community volunteers, works toward
creating new and innovative fundraising ideas along with the program enhancements we can fund to help our
students or the College in general. No matter what projects are chosen, we are successful only because of
donor’s continued generous support.
Every day I am fortunate to witness the affect your giving has on our students: from the student pursuing an associate’s degree, transferring to a four year college or student who has returned to Barton after being in the workforce to retrain for a new career. Barton has been able to survive and grow due to the generosity of individuals and businesses that help the College through the Foundation.
The Foundation awards annual student scholarships, provides funds for special projects and supports the strategic plan of the College within its mission to serve the community. With your support, the Foundation has been able to carry out is important work of assisting students and providing opportunities to augment College programs.
Each of you know how much Barton County Community College means to our communities. I want you to know how vital the Foundation is to the college’s health and continued success.
