Barton Community College will offer hybrid compressed courses in Principles of Macroeconomics and Principles of Microeconomics this fall, delivered in the classroom through lecture and supplemented by online components. The compressed hybrid courses will make it possible to complete both courses for a total of six credit hours in one semester rather than taking them in two separate semesters.

Both courses will meet from noon to 12:50 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, in Barton’s Science and Math Building, S-149. Brett Middleton is the instructor.

Macroeconomics will meet Aug. 16 through Oct. 8. Microeconomics will begin Oct. 11 and end Dec. 10. Tuition and fees per course are $252. For both courses, tuition and fees are $504. Textbook fees are additional.
