Barton Offers Introduction to Excel and Advanced Excel in Mini Classes

Barton Community College will offer a mini class in Microsoft Excel on March 2, followed by Advanced Excel on April 6, both led by Deanna Stevens, Barton’s business computer management instructor.
Introduction to Excel is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, in the college’s Technical Building, T-117. Participants will learn how to create a spreadsheet and use formatting, merging, changing column and row headers, the sum function and other tasks for sharing and analyzing data that will help them make informed decisions. Fee is $37, including the non-credit class and materials. Deadline for registration is Feb. 22.
Advanced Excel is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, in the College’s Technical Building, T-117. Participants will learn how to create tables and use filtering, sorting, totals, formulas and functions. Fee for this non-credit class is $37, which includes the class and materials. Deadline for registration is March 29.
