Four Barton Community College art students have had their work accepted in Kansas Collegiate Aesthetics 2010, an exhibit at the Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery in Lindsborg, which opened May 2 and continues through June 27.

Barton students exhibiting their work are Diane Engle, watercolor, Karole Erikson, digital photograph, Rose Dudek, oil painting, all of Great Bend, and Petr Grigor’ev, Vladivostok, Russia, digitally altered photograph. Grigor’ev received a Merit Award for his photograph. All are students of Barton art instructor Steve Dudek.

Karla Pritchet of the Salina Art Museum acted as judge for the exhibit. She chose 81 works by 65 Kansas artists who are enrolled in a college or community college art program.
