Cassie Niedens began the Medical Administrative Technology program in 2010 right after high school. Half way through the program, Cassie began an internship at Western Kansas Surgical Specialists. This position has afforded her the opportunity to apply her skill set in the workforce. This is a prime example of what this program can offer potential students.

“The Medical Administrative Technology program at Barton is a great opportunity for students who are ready to get into the workforce as soon as possible,” said Cassie Niedens, current Medical Administrative Technology student. “ Shanna has been a great advisor from helping me with my class schedule to helping me secure a job. She has started me on my career path towards becoming a Medical Coder. The classes I have taken have helped me with my job performance and I feel more confident in the workplace.
