MICROSOFT OFFICE 2010 TRAINING

 

During the summer of 2011 Barton will complete the move to Microsoft Office 2010. To help prepare for this move and for faculty/staff who would like to take online training courses the web site below will provide training. Face to Face training will be presented during the summer. This instruction is for training only, college credit is not provided.

Learning Express Library is funded by the taxpayers of Kansas and Kan-ed in collaboration with the Kansas State Library. Everyone in Kansas is welcome to avail themselves of the free training provided. Below is some information from their site.

Please read the instructions below before you login to the site.

  1. Open LearningExpress Library page
  2. Click the New Users: Register button
  3. Username:  Barton's zip code + your 7-digit Barton phone number (or any 7-digit phone number)
    (no spaces/dashes - example: 675307920000)
  4. Password: xxxxxx (all lower case)
  5. E-mail: Your Barton e-mail
  6. Click the Register button
  7. Print copy of "Registration Confirmation" page
  8. Select the Computer Skills button
  9. Select the training you wish to choose
  10. Click on title of training you have chosen
  11. Click on yellow Add To My Center button on the right of the title
  12. To begin immediately, click on Start the Course Now button on the right of the title, or
  13. Click on My Center on top right portion of page to access your chosen training list
